Jessie James murder: Charity offer £10k reward

Charity Crimestoppers is today offering a reward of up to £10,000, adding to an existing police reward of up to £50,000, for information on the murder of 15-year-old Jessie James.

Jessie, a schoolboy from Manchester, was gunned down in the Moss Side area in October 2006. Today’s appeal and increase in reward marks the ten year anniversary since his murder.

He was cycling through Broadfield Park when a gunman hiding in bushes shot him four times with a semi-automatic weapon.

Crimestoppers is now offering a reward of up to £10,000 to add to the existing £50,000 being offered by Greater Manchester Police.

Only information coming to Crimestoppers will qualify for the full amount of up to £60,000. Information passed to the police, will qualify for the original £50,000.
