Scholar murder trial hears from Arabic studies expert

Mohammed Abdul Kadir, 24, is accused of the murder of Jalal Uddin, 71.

Manchester Crown Court is hearing from Professor Robert Gleave, an expert in Arabic studies.

The Crown say Bangladeshi national Mr Uddin was targeted by Kadir as he walked through a children's play area in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, on February 18.
