Police release CCTV of murdered man's last known movements
Police investigating the murder of Michael Martin have released CCTV of his last known sighting.
Michael Patrick Paul Martin, 25, from Salford, was first reported missing on Monday August 8 and was last seen at a petrol station on Bolton Road, Kearsley, at 7.30am on Sunday August 7.
Police have launched a murder investigation and have since searched two properties in Blackley, one on Victoria Avenue and one on Longton Road, as well as a room at the Premier Inn on Middleton Road, Higher Blackley.
His car, a black Ford Focus, was also recovered on Velmere Avenue, Blackley, on Tuesday 9 August 2016.
Detectives are working to establish the circumstances surrounding Michael’s disappearance and are treating the investigation as a non-body murder.
A reward a £10,000 is being offered to anyone with information about what may have happened to him.
Police believe that Michael was assaulted shortly before he was reported missing. A 39-year-old man and a 53-year-old man have been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
