Barrow and Furness MP in Nice during terror attack

Barrow and Furness MP John Woodcock has confirmed he is safe following a terror attack in the French city of Nice, where more than 80 people died.

The MP tweeted this morning:

At least 84 people have been killed, several of them children, after a lorry driver ploughed into crowds celebrating France's national Bastille Day in Nice.
