Merseyside Police is re-appealing for the public's help in finding Wirral man who went missing from home nearly a fortnight ago.

New images of Simon Watson, 45, of Yewdale Park, Prenton, have now been released.

He was last seen in person at 5pm on Wednesday 29 June on Holm Lane in Prenton and was later seen on CCTV in a bank in Birkenhead on Saturday 2 July.

However there have been no further confirmed sightings and both the police and Simon's family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He is described as a white male, 6ft tall, of proportionate build, with short grey hair and hazel eyes. When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, grey jumper, a black beanie hat and brown shoes.

It is thought that Simon may use rail and coach networks to possibly travel to the south coast of England – in particular Eastbourne and Devon – although he could be anywhere in the country.

Anyone who has seen Simon, someone who resembles him or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 101 or the Missing People charity on 116 000. Alternatively they can email the charity on 116000@missing people.org.uk
