Supermarket syndicate from Chester celebrate £1m Lotto win

A syndicate of bakers from the Tesco store in Chester centre is celebrating after scooping the £1m Lotto raffle prize.

The bakers from Tesco didn't check the winning ticket for more than a month.

Cath Batten, only discovered the colleagues were £1m richer when she went to buy a ticket for the next Lotto draw.

The syndicate of 12, who work at the supermarket in Frodsham Street, will each bank £83,333.33.
