Liam Smith defends title with 2nd round knockout
Liam Smith defended his WBO light-middleweight title with a second-round knockout of Predrag Radosevic at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
The boxer from Liverpool stopped Radosevic with a left hook to the body and the challenger failed to beat the count.
It was the 13th knockout victory of his career and and extends his unbeaten record to 24.
Liam, the second youngest of Liverpool's famous Smith brothers, is now expected to challenge the Mexican Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, one of the world's most popular fighters.
Alvarez stopped Amir Khan in six rounds in Las Vegas last month.
