The father of a young motorcycle racer from Chorley who died in a crash has scattered his son's ashes on the Isle of Man.

Malachi Mitchell-Thomas died in May after he crashed during a North West 200 race in Northern Ireland.

The motorcyclist had been due to make his TT debut this week.

Malachi's father, Kevin Thomas, says it was the 20-year-old wish that he would be taken to the Isle of Man if anything happened to him during a race.
