Burnley fans are invited to turn out in their thousands when the club celebrates their return to the Premier League during a civic celebration.

A public celebration event will be held next Monday, 9 May, in Burnley.

It will kick off with a Civic reception at the town hall, followed by an open-top bus parade through the town centre to Turf Moor.

Burnley FC manager Sean Dyche and his players will be officially welcomed by the Mayor of Burnley, Councillor Liz Monk, at 6pm.

The Clarets heroes will then appear on the balcony of the town hall around 6.15pm to be interviewed by writer, broadcaster and avid Clarets fan Alastair Campbell.

It will be followed by an open-top bus parade to the club’s ground.
