137 guns and 4,240 rounds of ammunition were handed into Lancashire Constabulary after police across the north west urged people to 'give up the gun'.
The two week surrender saw nearly forty air rifles handed in, along with handguns, shotguns and antique firearms.
Those who handed guns in during the surrender may not face prosecution for illegal possession and could choose to remain anonymous, though each gun will be checked by forensic officers.
A similar surrender in 2014 saw 103 guns handed in to police, who warned against the dangers of the guns getting into the wrong hands.
