A homeowner says he has been left with £15,000-worth of damage after a steamroller careered into his house.
Daniel Adcock was horrified after receiving a phone call saying the vehicle had smashed into the front of his Beswick home on Friday.
It is understood contractor Argyle N.W. was carrying out works on behalf of Lovell Homes when a worker was levelling the road on Commonwealth Avenue.
Daniel said he was told the man fell back on the machine’s faulty chair before getting his leg stuck on the accelerator.
It is understood the steamroller mounted the kerb before crashing into Daniel’s home at around 5pm.
