Customer allegedly finds bug in bag of spinach

A shopper claims to have found a large insect nestled inside a bag of Sainsbury’s spinach.

The customer, who compared their apparent discovery to I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, said they bought the green leaves from the supermarket’s branch at Manchester Piccadilly train station.

When the shocked shopper took to social media to inform Sainsbury’s bosses, the store offered to compensate them with Nectar Points.
