Thousands turn out for Manchester Marathon

Thousands of people have lined the route of this year's ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon to watch around 12,000 runners taking part.

The 26-mile route runs through Sale, Brooklands, Timperley, Altrincham, Urmston and Stretford.
