Granada Weather - Into the new week
Storm Katie will track across southern parts of the UK during the early part of Easter Monday, bringing gales and heavy rain for south/southeastern England.
For the Granada region it's Cheshire and the High Peak that are most at risk of a wet and windy spell by the second half of Sunday night - but this is likely to push away quite quickly during the first part of Monday morning, leaving a drier and brighter story for the north west.
SUNDAY NIGHT:
Showers continuing during the evening, becoming confined to the north overnight and mixed with clear spells. 'Storm Katie' will arrive from the southwest overnight, bringing a spell of heavy rain and strong winds for the south and east of the region - drier further north and west. Lows 3°C.
EASTER MONDAY:
Unsettled conditions will soon move north-eastwards through Monday morning with winds easing by lunchtime for most areas. A drier, brighter afternoon will follow with some sunshine and isolated showers. Highs 10°C.
OUTLOOK:
Remaining showery over the next few days, these moving eastwards through Tuesday with hail and thunder likely, but possibly becoming less frequent into Wednesday. Thursday will be mainly dry with sunshine and just a few isolated showers, more likely in the north.
Chilly nights under clearer skies. Winds lighter.
