Police release images of six men they want to speak to after man sustained broken jaw during Manchester attack
Police have released the images of six men they wish to speak to after a man had his jaw broken after being attacked by a group of men in Manchester city centre.
In the early hours of February 7, police were called to Tariff Street in the Northern Quarter area of the city centre to reports that a man had been assaulted by a group of men.
Officers attended and found a 25-year-old man with serious facial injuries before he was taken to hospital where he needed surgery on a broken jaw. He has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.
Further enquiries established that the victim had left the Pen and Pencil bar at closing time when he began speaking with a group of men stood outside. The group began punching and kicking him a few minutes later.
