As Ryan King’s mother waited by his hospital bed for him to undergo surgery on a broken jaw last night, she appealed to anyone with information on the sickening attack to come forward.
The 25-year-old from Glossop was set upon in Hilton Street in the early hours of yesterday morning after leaving the Pen and Pencil bar.
He had been on a night out with friends and had left the bar alone just before he was assaulted by a group of five men who kicked and punched him, leaving him with serious facial and hand injuries.
Ryan’s mum Alaina Robinson says she and his family are desperate to help police find those responsible.
