Merseyside Police is appealing for the public's help in tracing a missing boy from the Kensington area.

Peter Jones, aged 14, was last seen in the Park Road area of Liverpool last Monday afternoon (January 25).

Police say extensive enquiries have been carried out to locate Peter but they are now becoming increasingly concerned about his whereabouts.

Peter is described as white, 5ft 3in tall, of slim build, with long and bushy light brown hair and a local Liverpool accent. He has a pale complexion, green eyes and sometimes wears glasses.

Peter is known to frequent the Broadgreen Road area of West Derby, and the Sunlight Street area of Kensington.

Police officers are making extensive efforts to find Peter and return him home safely and would urge Peter, anyone who knows his whereabouts, or who has seen a boy resembling Peter to call 0151 777 4671 or 101.
