Isle of Man public favour same sex marriage draft Bill

Results from a recent public consultation on the proposal of a same sex marriage Bill have been released on the Isle of Man.

The draft Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill was favoured by 90 supporters and 76 were opposed. There were ten other responses.

Responses were welcomed from the public until November 2015.

The Bill will now go to the House of Keys for consideration.
