New figures have shown a sharp increase in cases of patients suffering from malnutrition at Greater Manchester hospitals.
The rate of patients at Salford Royal showing signs of not having eaten has doubled.
Health officials say it is a complex issue and that the figures for Salford are skewed by the type of patients it cares for.
