A busy night for our region's firefighters

It's been a busy night for our region's firefighters, they responded to hundreds of calls as thousands of people enjoyed bonfire night.

Manchester Fire and Rescue had to attend over three hundred incidents during the night:

Despite the high number of call-outs they tweeted their thanks to all the people who had a safe and enjoyable evening:

Elsewhere in the region Lancashire Fire services had to respond to 43 incidents and Cheshire firefighters had to deal with hundreds of calls and attend 70 call-outs.
