Robert Hart's inquest hears of medic's anger at hospital
Doctors at Robert Hart's inquest describe being angry and frustratedby Salford Royal Infirmary's decision not to admit him as hiscondition deteriorated.
The 26 year old had been punched unconscious at the Parklife festival.
He was being monitored overnight at North Manchester General &complained of headaches.
A CT scan the next morning revealed he had a bleed on the brain.
Dr Emmanuel Akurang told the inquest he made repeated calls to speakto the on call registrar & consultant at Salford Royal, the regionalcentre and couldn't understand why they didn't sanction Robert'stransfer.
Dr Anthony Reiley also described making multiple attempts to speak tostaff at Salford, as Robert's condition continued to deteriorate.
Robert's sister left the Inquest in tears as doctors revealed theseriousness of his condition.
He died 4 days later.
