£1.5m of counterfeit goods found after raids in Strangeways

Handbags seized after raids in Manchester Credit: Greater Manchester Police

Over £1.5m worth of counterfeit goods have been recovered after warrants in the Strangeways area of north Manchester.

On Tuesday, 14 shops were raided as part of Operation Rogue Trader.

During the raids, counterfeit clothing, handbags, beauty products and jewellery were recovered.

No arrests have been made but further inquiries are ongoing.
