Six arrests over Kieran McGrath murder

Six people have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Kieran McGrath.

Kieran, 26, was shot outside the Sheldon Arms pub in Ashton last October.

He managed to make his way to the local police station but collapsed outside.

Greater Manchester Police made today's arrests after raiding homes in Manchester, Bury and Wigan.

The suspects, aged 33, 31, 31, 27, 23 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody for questioning, the force said.
