Tributes paid to couple who died in tragic buggy accident
Tributes have been paid to a young teacher and her boyfriend who have died after an accident on a dune buggy in the Middle East.
Charlotte Sant, understood to be from Manchester, was killed when the vehicle overturned in a horrific crash whilst visiting sand dunes in Qatar on Saturday.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Charlotte was employed by Wellacre Academy in Flixton.
It is understood she and her 24-year-old boyfriend and former Liverpool John Moores University graduate Eamonn Morgan, who also died, moved to the country year ago and had been working as PE teachers at an international school.
Two other friends who were visiting the couple from Ireland were also on the sand dune trip and were injured in the crash.
They are currently being treated in hospital in the country’s capital Doha and are both said to be stable.
And tributes have begun to flood in for ‘sweet girl’ Charlotte and her partner, who has graduated from university in Liverpool.
