Cannabis farms worth more than £1.35 million found in Liverpool close to previous cannabis farm site
Four cannabis farm have been discovered at a block of flats in Everton close to the site where Merseyside's biggest ever cannabis farm was found earlier this month.
The farms in were found in Crete Towers, Jason Street yesterday morning.
Police were alerted to the flats by a member of the public who noticed the smell of cannabis.
Inside they found 339 cannabis plants growing, a bin bag full of cropped plants and equipment used to grow the drug.
Police say the farms show a 'sophisticated and industrial-scale criminal set-up with a potential annual yield of more than £1.35 million.
