The morning after the night before and the People's History Museum is hosting an election breakfast for early risers with a political appetite to come together and digest the results of what has been one of the remarkable general elections in a generation. Today is fast becoming one of the most important days in modern British history.

Visitors gave an audible gasp as the result came in for the shadow chancellor Ed Balls seat of Morley and Outwood. The night was full of big name casualties and the potential for 3 leaders to resign by the end of the day. Discussion centred on what lost the campaign for Labour - could it've been the now infamous bacon sandwich moment?
