Crash claims the life of 15-year-old Levi Jade
A schoolgirl killed in a horror crash when a car smashed into a tree has been named as Levi Jade Apsley.
Touching tributes have flooded in after the 15-year-old’s death in the smash in Offerton, Stockport, in the early hours of Saturday.
The crash also claimed the life of a 22-year-old man, who has not been named, two others - aged 18 and 23 - were injured and remain in hospital.
A dog being walked by a passer-by was also killed.
The crash happened at around 1.20am on Saturday morning.
The emergency services attended and Levi Jade was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 22-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital but died later.
A 23-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital and an 18-year-old man, who suffered serious injury, is in a stable condition.
Passer-by David Hargreaves was walking his labrador Milo and Japanese akita Suki when the crash happened.
He told the Manchester Evening News he was lucky to be alive.
Milo was killed, while David and Suki were thrown into the grounds of nearby Dialstone Lane Methodist Church.
