Lancs stars struggle in Oz
James Anderson and Jos Buttler failed to inspire England to victory in their opening game of the Cricket World Cup.
The Lancashire stars couldn't find a breakthrough as Australia put them to the sword in Melbourne, winning by 111 runs.
Anderson finished wicketless, though did take a catch to remove Mitchell Johnson, as the hosts set an impressive target of 342 for 9.
England's reply then quickly collapsed to 92 for 6, with Buttler caught out for just 10 runs.
James Taylor steadied the ship for England with a hard-fought 98 not out. But England were finally dismissed for 231, as Anderson was run out for 8.
Their next World Cup match is against New Zealand in Wellington on Friday.
