A memorial service will be held this weekend for aid worker Alan Henning, who was killed by Islamic State terrorists.

The ceremony on Saturday will be held at Eccles Parish Church, and will replace the funeral which the former taxi driver will never have.

The private, invitation-only service is expected to be attended by hundreds of people wishing to pay their respect.
