Granada Weather - The Week Ahead
Overall this week is an unsettled one, with low pressure in charge - bringing showers or rain, often windy conditions but temperatures at average or above for the time of year.
Although the week as a whole is nothing too unusual, some rather stormy conditions will head our way during Monday night into Tuesday - all thanks to Hurricane Gonzalo, which is currently sitting way out west in the Atlantic.
By the time Gonzalo reaches us on Monday night it will no longer be a hurricane - but it will help to bring a spell of heavy rain into the early part of Tuesday, and behind this rain some very strong northwesterly winds. The risk of widespread gales for the region into Tuesday has prompted the Met Office to issue a Yellow 'Be Aware' warning for gusts 50mph widely but peaking 60-70mph for coasts and hills (probably during morning rush hour Tuesday).
Here's your GRANADA forecast for the next few days.......
SUNDAY:
A windy day, with gales likely especially across coasts and hills. Showers will also become increasingly frequent throughout the day, although sunny intervals are also likely at times. Remaining warm. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.
