Thousands take part in Liverpool Half Marathon
Thousands of people are taking part in the Liverpool Half Marathon today.
The event was started by Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers.
A Sport Relief Mile is also taking place.
This year’s Half Marathon will see 8,500 competitors take part over the 13.1 mile course, starting and ending at the city's Pier Head.
More runners from overseas than ever before are competing as the event celebrates its 21st anniversary.
