The pressure chart shows the track of the low across the UK and the associated heavy rain. The rain will be heaviest across north west England during the early hours of Monday. Locally up to 40 mm of rain will fall during Monday. Local flooding is expected. The morning rush hour will be wet across the region.

North west England is included in the yellow warning for rain valid from midnight until 12 pm on Monday. Disruption to travel and potential damage to trees and property could be caused by the wet and windy weather. Winds will gust 60- 80mph, making driving difficult during the morning rush hour. Winds will ease slightly during Monday. The Isle of Man is not included in either warning.
