Stand by your Man

Figures show one man dies from prostate cancer every 49 minutes in the UK. That's 10,721 - almost as many as the number of women who die from breast cancer. By 2030, it could be the most common cancer.

ITV is launching a campaign called 'Stand by your Man' to raise awareness of this killer disease. All this week we'll have special features on Granada Reports and on our website about prostate cancer.

ITV has made a short film called 'Father's Day' which will be broadcast on Father's Day next Sunday night. It features an all-star cast and focuses on the disease that has touched the lives of so many.
