Two men charged in connection with Ellesmere Port murder
Cheshire detectives investigating a murder in Ellesmere Port have now charged two men who will appear before Chester Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, 20th May 2013.
Dominik Charles Kocher, date of birth 08/02/1979, and Manuel Wagner date of birth 16/03/88, both from Abbey Bank, New Abbey, Dumfries, Scotland have been charged this evening with 2 offences relating to the murder in Ellesmere Port
The charges relate to assisting an offender ? contrary to section 4 of the Criminal law Act and preventing a lawful burial - contrary to Common Law.
Police have been searching an outbuilding at a house on Hylton Court, Ellesmere Port after following information received concerning a missing 35 year old man, Christophe Borgye, a French national who was reported missing in May 2009. Human remains were removed from the property on Thursday 16 May.
A post mortem has taken place and revealed the cause of death to be blunt force trauma.
Formal identification has not been made but based on the information available Police believe the victim is Christophe Borgye.
A third person, a 35-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been sectioned under section 2 of the Mental Health Act.
