The Royal Mail is producing a stamp in honour of Sarah Storey after securing Great Britain's first gold at the Paralympic Games.

Storey from Manchester will appear on the stamp for her victory - she broke her own World Record during qualifying for the Women's C5 Individual Pursuit yesterday (August 30).

It is the first time a set of stamps has been issued to celebrate Paralympic gold medallists from the host country.

Royal Mail said it is delighted to be issuing the special gold medal stamps to recognise Britain's Paralympic champions.

Storey's stamps can be bought from her local Post Office in Market Street, Disley.
