Two men killed in light aircraft crash near Chester

Two men have been killed in a light aircraft crash near Chester.

Emergency services were called to a field near Chapel Lane, Aldfrod where crews found a two seater plane had crashed into a field late this evening.

The two men onboard the aircraft, one from North Wales and a second man from Surrey, sustained fatal injuries.

Their family have been informed but formal identification has not yet taken place.
