The boyhood supporters taking over the Burnley boardroom
The new men in charge at Burnley insist their sole aim is a return to the Premier League, and money will be available to achieve it.
Life-long Clarets supporters John Banaszkiewicz and Mike Garlick have replaced long-standing chairman Barry Kilby at Turf Moor, who was forced to step down after 13 years at the end of last season due to ill health.
The co-chairmen admit they have a tough task in following fans -favourite Kilby, and both say they will continue his legacy 'of not betting the ranch' in order to bring success to the club.
Banaszkiewicz and Garlick have however promised funds to manager Eddie Howe, much of which will come from the sale of striker Jay Rodriguez to Southampton. Reports suggest a fee of around £6m has been paid by the newly-promoted Saints for Rodriguez's services.
