Option E has been knocked out of the running during the second count for Guernsey's referendum.
Option A - which proposes island-wide voting - is still in the lead.
The 1004 votes for E will now be redistributed and recounted.

After the first count Option A has the largest percentage of votes and Option D has the smallest, knocking it out of the second count.
A minimum turnout of 40% was needed for the result to be binding or the final decision would have fallen to the States.
