Guernsey Referendum 2018
Guernsey will decide how its politicians are elected in a referendum on Wednesday 10th October. Voters had 5 options to choose from.
Option B is now out of the running
Option B has been knocked out of the referendum following the 3rd count.
No option has over 50% of the votes so the counting will go to the next round.
- A had 5755 votes
- B had 3932 votes
- C had 4220 votes

Option D knocked out in the first round of the referendum count
After the first count Option A has the largest percentage of votes and Option D has the smallest, knocking it out of the second count.

45.1% turnout in Guernsey's first-ever Referendum
A minimum turnout of 40% was needed for the result to be binding or the final decision would have fallen to the States.
