Bus passengers in Guernsey could see driverless vehicles carrying them around the island.

Driverless or fully-automated vehicle technology is currently being trialled in the UK.

An island based husband and wife business team are currently conducting a feasibility study and plan to bring a trial bus to the island.

Jenny Ozanne, Director of Shuttlebuzz, says it would provide a door to door service for islanders and encourage people to not use cars so often.

She says people will use an App to book their journey and be able to pay using their smart phone.
