Rescued seal pup making great progress in her recovery

Sami the Seal pup, who was rescued in Jersey, is making great progress in her recovery, the GSPCA have said.

Staff say she is now starting to eat fish all on her own.

Sami was rescued between Christmas and New Years and is now being looked after at the animal shelter in Guernsey.

The GSPCA say she is still extremely thin and it will take months before she is strong enough to be released to the wind, but they are pleased with her progress so far.
