An islander has described the hectic scenes at Green Island in Jersey last night where a woman drowned.
Terry Arthur, who lives nearby, was taking pictures of the crashing waves before he saw the incident unfold.
He says there was a sense of sadness as people watched the rescue team try and save the woman.
