Search for missing Jerseyman

A coordinated search between the emergency services took place in Jersey in December 2015 to look for a 20-year-old man who disappeared after a work night out.

Eight months later a body was recovered from a reservoir, near to where Adrian Lynch went missing. Adrian's passport was in the jacket on the body.

Adrian left friends at a work party at midnight on Friday 4th December and got into a taxi to go home.

The last known sighting of him was in the early hours of Saturday morning (5th) in the area of Bon Air Stables.

Inquest into death of Adrian Lynch opens

The inquest into the death of Adrian Lynch, whose body was found earlier this month, will open today.

The hearing today is to allow the body to be released to his family.

Adrian's was found floating in the water at Handois Reservoir nearly two weeks ago.

The 20-year-old went missing in December after attending a work Christmas party.

His disappearance sparked the largest ever missing person search in Jersey.

A memorial service will take place for Adrian on Friday at 2:30pm at St Helier Methodist Centre.

Anyone who want to donate money is being asked to send it to Jersey Search and Rescue and Channel Island Air Search.
