Senator Zoe Cameron has resigned from the States of Jersey.
Dr Cameron says she does not 'possess the qualities or stamina required to make an impact in modern day Jersey.'
A by-election will be held to fill the vacant Senatorial seat.

Speaking in a States sitting, she said she had informed the Bailiff of her resignation.
Dr Cameron, who was elected in the 2014 General Election, told the Assembly she wanted to make a statement but it is deemed inappropriate for resigning members to do so.
