Family, friends and supporters will gather in Sark today to pay their respects to the island's late Seigneur.
Michael Beaumont OBE passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, at the age of 88.
He served in the role as Seigneur for 42 years.
His son, Major Christopher Beaumont, inherits his late father's title.
The funeral will take place at 1.30pm at St Peter's Church.
The weekend event coincides with International Pride Month and the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
The scheme has been backed by the island's Lieutenant-Governor, and is the first of its kind in the Channel Islands.
