Today at ITV Channel we have learnt that things aren't always as they seem...

In a bizarre case revealed to us this morning, a man took what he thought was a dead cat to Guernsey's animal shelter....but it turned out to be a damp, muddy hand puppet.

It flagged up even more cases of mistaken identities, including a hedgehog rescue that turned out to be a pine cone...
