A Jersey man has won today's Durrell Challenge, running 13k in approximately 47 minutes.
Dan Romeril said the course was 'tough' but he 'focused on the finish line' and is 'really pleased' with his win.
Nearly 400 people competed in the event which raises money for the wildlife conservation park.
Durrell's ambassador Henry Cavill also competed.
The weekend event coincides with International Pride Month and the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
The scheme has been backed by the island's Lieutenant-Governor, and is the first of its kind in the Channel Islands.
