The man accused of murdering Guernsey woman, Sarah Groves, has still not appointed a new defence lawyer.

The Dutch National dismissed his previous legal team and his failure to appoint another is hampering progress in the trial.
Only one witness has been processed since June last year but Sarah’s father is hopeful changes will be made ahead of the next hearing, scheduled for April 5th, one day before the 3rd anniversary of Sarah’s death.
It is understood that representatives from the Netherlands will be present in advance of the next hearing in an effort to resolve the pressing issue of legal representation and to assess Mr de Wit’s mental and physical state of health.
