Jersey gymnast Ludlow claims GB spot

Jersey gymnast Bryony Ludlow has earned the opportunity to train with the Great Britain squad after finishing fourth in this weekend’s National Championships.

Ludlow’s performance in Bracknell means she’s the first ever Jersey girl to make the British squad.

The youngster’s best discipline was the floor where she finished second behind overall winner Jaimee Smith.

Ludlow also placed third on the uneven bars.

Another Jersey competitor Elisha Scott also put in a strong performance to finish 11th overall in the Level 2 competition.
