Morgan Huelin's inquest opens and adjourns

The inquest of Jersey teenager Morgan Huelin has opened and adjourned.

The 16-year-old's body was found in a lane in Trinity last month.

This morning, the short hearing agreed that he could be cremated, with the Deputy Viscount Advocate Mark Harris saying that the two post mortem examinations that have been carried out mean his body can be released.

Authorities are still waiting for the results of a toxicology report.

No family or friends were at the inquest opening, where evidence was given by police.

Five people have been arrested in connection with his death and have recently had their bail extended until the end of September.
